Annual Dues - What are they?

There are two separate components to your membership dues with Sigma Kappa: national and local.

National Dues:
  • National alumnae dues are $35 annually. They allow Sigma Kappa to function as an organization and pay for resources, technology initiatives, extension opportunities, and the national headquarters staff. Please pay your national dues online at sigmakappa.org.

Local Dues:
  • New Alumnae: If you join the Atlanta Alumnae chapter within a year of graduation, your first year is free!
  • Established Alumnae: Local dues for established alumnae are $25 annually.
  • Chapter Officers or National Volunteers: dues are $20 annually.

Pay by Credit Card, ApplePay, or GooglePay: 
Payments are made through Square. We add $1 to all payments to cover the processing fees.

Why pay dues?

Your local Atlanta Alumnae dues help support:
  • Our local gerontology philanthropy, Mountain View Personal Care Home – we bring treats and needed supplies on our monthly visits.
  • The three paired collegiate chapters: Kappa Lambda, Kappa Tau and Theta Xi. We also unofficially help support Epsilon Epsilon.
  • Administrative costs (i.e., website and communication fees)
  • The chapter’s dues to the Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association
  • Fun events! (i.e., social outings and Founders Day)
  • Donations to national philanthropies such as the Sigma Kappa Foundation, the Maine Seacoast Mission, and the Alzheimer’s Association
