Get Involved...

  • To support Sigma Kappa’s National Day of Service, the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter is teaming up for a little friendly competition— we’re going head-to-head with our sisters in Athens to see which chapter can collect the most diapers by the Day of Service on April 25! Atlanta donations will benefit HelpingMamas.org – part of the Georgia Diaper Bank Coalition. Through a network of more than 150 partner organizations, Helping Mamas distributes millions of essential items each year to families across Georgia. You can purchase diapers directly from our Amazon Wish List or our Walmart Wish List (easy and fast!) or email us to coordinate drop-offs.

  • At the 2026 Convention, our delegates will be discussing a new option to create Alumnae Networks/or in addition to or instead of local chapters. A network could be any group of six or more alumnae, based on geography, life stage, collegiate chapters, or other shared affinities. As many alumnae chapters across the country struggle to attract and retain members, this is intended to provide a more flexible option for alumnae engagement. We’re not yet sure what it would mean for financial and service expectations, but we will share more as we find out. Sigma Kappa (NHQ) is hosting a Zoom call on Wednesday, May 13, at 8:00 pm ET to provide more information and answer questions. You can join that call at the link here. Our leadership wil beo that call and will share information. We are hosting our own call on Sunday, June 7, at 8:00 pm for Atlanta alumnae chapter members and others interested in discussing the proposal. before our delegates vote. You can join the call here.
